AKKA SK is typical small consultancy company working in consultancy for companies as well as for public sector in the field of strategy creation, training and education, technology transfer and innovation. Owner of the company is PhDr. Miroslav Poláček.

Miroslav Poláček have been working in economic sectors of the Government from the early 90 - ies. He began at the Ministry of Finance in the different positions Head of Department, Adviser to the State Secretary, Adviser to the Minister. At the Ministry of Economic Affairs worked as Director of the Department for support SMEs, innovation and investment, and later as Director General of the Strategy Section. Last position in public sector was the advisor of minister for the business environment, innovation and investment at the Ministry of Economy devoted to strategic projects, including changing laws aimed at improving the investment and business environment.

In recent years he worked as a consultant for public administrations and enterprises in strategic planning, investment and education. He is the author and co-author of several strategic documents of public administration at regional and central level.

Miroslav Polacek was a member of several institutions of the European Commission - High Level Group for Better regulation - a permanent working group on better regulation, the Working Group on Corporate Social Responsibility and the Working Group on State aid. He was also member of the OECD Working Party on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Committee. He was deputy head of the international team for the reform of public finance management in the Slovak Republic, a project supported by the World Bank.

AKKA SK is very closely working with Electronic Cluster – Western Slovakia, which is association of legal persons established by Trnava regional Government, Galanta City and Samsung electronics Slovakia. Cluster is oriented mainly on supporting and management of various projects in the field of training, innovation, strategies and cross border cooperation of companies as well as the public and academic sectors. Company through Electronic Cluster is cooperating narrowly with Electronic Section of the Slovak Chamber of Commerce having partners all over the country and V4 countries (Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary) and Austria. The company is also member of Slovak-Vietnam Chamber of commerce, which is oriented at development of business and know how transfer between Slovak Republic and Vietnam.
